About the Role:
Are you an SEO expert with a deep understanding of search engine algorithms and best practices? As a “Freelance SEO Expert“, at DigiSocium, you will be responsible for optimizing our clients’ websites, conducting keyword research, and implementing on-page and off-page SEO strategies. This freelance position offers you the flexibility to work remotely, manage your own schedule, and get compensated based on the budget of each project. You’ll have the opportunity to work on diverse assignments and contribute to our clients’ online success.
Requirements:
- Proven experience of 2 to 3 years in SEO, is expected but not mandatory. It can be relaxed for exceptional candidates.
- A strong portfolio of successful projects.
- In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, keyword research, and SEO best practices.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with remote teams.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and visual aesthetics.
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
- Availability to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work on time.
- Enthusiasm for learning and staying updated on industry trends.
- A strong team player who brings a positive attitude to every interaction.
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and isn’t afraid to take initiative.
- Must have a functioning laptop, Desktop computer, and a stable Wi-Fi.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Improve search engine rankings by leveraging optimization techniques and technical SEO expertise.
- Perform SEO activities including, but not limited to, keyword research, competitor research, content, and website performance analysis.
- Maintain SEO keywords and trends charts.
- Use a variety of SEO tactics (site architecture, on-page, off-page, local SEO) to improve websites visibility in search results.
- Manage backlink profiles for client sites including developing and implement link building strategies and other off-page optimization tactics.
- Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and analytics.
- Provide recommendations for improving website structure, content, and user experience.
- Collaborate with the DigiSocium team to develop and execute SEO strategies.
- Stay updated on the latest SEO trends and best practices.
- Deliver projects within the agreed timeframe and budget.
- Communicate progress and updates regularly with the project manager.
- Participate in SEO team training activities.
