About the Role:

Our Internship Program offers the perfect opportunity for you to dive into the world of digital marketing, SEO and content writing, while honing your skills and building your resume. As an “SEO Intern”, you will contribute to our content marketing efforts by writing engaging and informative content to be published. You’ll have the chance to work alongside seasoned professionals on real-world projects, gain invaluable insights, and be an integral part of our team and contribute to our success. The right candidate would be someone who has a right attitude, is self-motivated and always ready to go the extra mile.
Requirements:
- Basic understanding and familiarity of SEO principles, writing and editing skills.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Prior experience in creating content for brands or personal projects is a must.
- Ability to conduct thorough research on various topics.
- Previous experience in content writing is a plus.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress is a bonus.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality content.
- Experience of using artificial intelligence platforms like ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Microsoft Autopilot and other AI tools is a plus (Solely relying on AI tools is not accepted).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for learning and staying updated on social media trends.
- Professionalism along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and isn’t afraid to take initiative.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Create a space for communication, participation, problem-solving and collaboration.
- Available to work remotely.
- A strong team player who brings a positive attitude to every interaction.
- Must be comfortable with working in a deadline driven, fast-paced environment Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Must have a functioning phone, computer, webcam, and stable Wi-Fi.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Regularly write and edit blog posts on various topics related to our clients’ industries.
- Conduct research to ensure content is accurate and up-to-date.
- Optimize content for search engines (SEO) using relevant keywords.
- Collaborate with the content team to brainstorm and develop new ideas.
- Assist in managing and updating the blog calendar.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute creative ideas for upcoming campaigns.
- Research current and industry trends, hashtags, best practices and competitors to produce relevant and timely content.
- Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor as deemed fit, to support both internship and departmental goals and objectives.
