About the Role:
Are you a creative and skilled graphic designer with a passion for visual storytelling? As a “Freelance Graphic Designer” at DigiSocium, you will work on a variety of projects, including branding, social media graphics, marketing materials, and more. This freelance position offers you the flexibility to work remotely, manage your own schedule, and get compensated based on the budget of each project. You’ll have the opportunity to work on diverse assignments that align with your expertise and contribute to our clients’ success.
Requirements:
- Proven experience of 2 to 3 years in graphic design, is expected but not mandatory. It can be relaxed for exceptional candidates.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in in Arts, Design, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar.
- Strong understanding of visual design principles, typography, color theory, and branding.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and visual aesthetics.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with remote teams.
- Availability to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work on time.
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and isn’t afraid to take initiative.
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
- A strong team player who brings a positive attitude to every interaction.
- Must have a functioning laptop, Desktop computer, and a stable Wi-Fi.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Regularly create visually appealing designs for various digital (banners, social media, websites, and marketing campaigns etc.) and print media.
- Develop and refine original branding elements, including logos, color schemes, shapes and typography.
- Embrace feedback to refine and revise designs.
- Ensure all design work aligns with brand standards and client objectives.
- Collaborate closely with other designers, marketers, and developers to achieve outstanding results.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas for design projects.
- Manage and organize design assets efficiently.
- Deliver projects within the agreed timeframe and budget.
- Communicate progress and updates regularly with the project manager.
- Efficiently manage multiple projects with high quality.
